UA International presents “ROCK ON 2018” in association with Travel Point and NCBT – A concert which will feature some of the finest singers and musicians from New Zealand, who will present songs from recent mega-hit albums and all-time classics with a Coke Studio style of musical arrangement.

Avish Sharma

He is known all around the world for his melodious voice and an excellent stage presence, having gathered more than 3.3 million channel views on YouTube for his renditions of popular Bollywood songs and a social media following of 80,000+ across all platforms. He was also one of the winners of two online singing competitions held by the biggest music label in India – T-Series Music for his covers of the songs “Galliyan” and “Tu Hai Ki Nahi” and has also recently been featured on Zee Music Company’s YouTube channel. Watch Avish rock the stage with numbers such as “Bulleya” from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and “Mere Rashq-e-Qamar” by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan as well as classics like “Dil Se Re” by A.R. Rahman, “Chaiyya Chaiyya” by Sukhwinder Singh and many more!

Bhavana Suroshi Kadam

Bhavana has featured in UA’s events for over a decade, in shows by Raju Shrivastav, Bankim Pathak and Bhoomi Trivedi and is well known in Auckland for her brilliant tonal quality. She was a finalist in the first edition of the local singing competition on TV – “Kaun Banega Superstar” and idolises Asha Bhosle, Kavita Krishnamoorthy and Shreya Ghoshal. She will be singing some modern classics such as “Mohe Rang Do Laal” from Bajirao Mastani and retro hits like “Ab ke Sawan aise barse” by Shobha Mudgal.

Hemant Shirsat

Singer, composer and a versatile musician, Hemant has been one of the busiest performers in Auckland over the years. He is trained in Hindustani classical music and is a huge fan of A.R. Rahman. He has sung at various high profile events in Auckland and India, a recent one being “Guftagu with Gulzar Saab“, which was also managed by UA International. He is looking forward to performing his favourite tracks at ROCK ON 2018, some of which are – “Saiyyan” by Kailash Kher, “Tere Bina (Dum dara mast mast)” by Rahman and more!

Guncha Singh

Being one of the Top Three in Auckland’s “Kaun Banega Superstar“, kicked off Guncha’s musical journey. She has come a long way since then performing in various concerts in Auckland. She is a student of Hindustani Classical music as well and believes that “every show is a challenge that helps an artist grow in many ways”. She is looking forward to performing some incredible songs at ROCK ON 2018, such as “Deewani Mastani” from Bajirao Mastani,Parda Parda” from Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and more!

Shweta Divekar-Shirsat

Shweta is loved by Auckland audiences for her Asha ji style of singing and is a versatile artist who is equally good at performing retro as well as new Bollywood tracks. She is also trained in Hindustani classical music and has featured in events such as “Amit Kumar live” and “Guftagu with Gulzar Saab“. She will be performing some epic compositions such as “Main Pareshaan” and “Kajra Mohabbat Wala“.
